At Ankura, previously, Navigant Inc., Leonardo specializes in data analytics to answer a wide variety of questions at the forefront of a given corporate lawsuit in statistics, economics, and data management. In litigation consulting, Leonardo gets to look backwards and offer a detailed analysis of what happened. On the technical side, Leonardo uses R statistics software daily at Ankura to develop algorithms, bring structure to formless data, and perform a wide variety of economic and statistical analyses.

  • Communicate with clients daily to discuss analyses, structure work plans and budgets, and develop case strategy.

  • In primarily R (but occasionally SQL and Excel), design multi-phase analyses (commonly relying on the successful. integration of 10 to 20 scripts) to solve complex economic and statistical questions in legal disputes; create reports and internal reporting tools using R Markdown and Shiny Web Apps.

  • Develop personalized functions and algorithms in R for broad company use to expedite a plethora of processes, including structuring, aggregating, and visualizing data.
